The Global network of passengers (GPN) is an organization that offers coach rental in 31 countries around the world through coach operators recognized internationally for its quality. GPN organizes its General Meetings twice a year in different countries. In this case, the host was its member in Malta, Zarb Coaches who proudly welcomed more than 60 participants at the prestigious Hotel Excelsior in Valletta.

In this occasion, GPN welcomed two new countries, Sweden and Romania, represented by the companies Björks Buss in Sweden and Alis Grup in Romania. With these two new members, the Organization covers now 31 countries and start with a new phase of expansion to other continents, such as, Asia and Latin America.

On the other hand, GPN also welcomed several new partners, among the most important in the coach industry, such as Scania, Indcar and Continental Tyres. Our new partners’ international sales directors had the opportunity to introduce their companies and their services and were really impressed by the value of discussions at our meetings and the possibilities that arose during the two days-meeting in terms of sales, share of knowledge, etc.

GPN is currently in full growth and expansion and it’s exponentially increasing each month the number of requests for coach rental all over the world. For this reason, in Malta it was approved the implementation of a CRM platform, Microsoft Dynamics, that will allow to improve the tracking of its potential customers, contacts and finding new business opportunities. The introduction of this CRM will be a milestone within the Organization, which will highly help to monitor the GPN’s relationships with its customers.

Within the Committee's innovation was presented to all participants, on a confidential basis, a revolutionary web platform in the coach and bus industry, which very soon will be launched in the coach market, absolutely innovative at technological level that will give much to talk about in the coming months.

As usual, the whole of GPN Members obviously had also the possibility to visit the headquarters of its host member, Zarb Coaches in Malta and enjoy a whole range of events in the island, organized by its director, Manuel Zarb.

After this first successful General meeting of 2016, GPN begins the preparation of its next Meeting that will be held in Dublin in November 2016.
